yellow sulphate

i cant seem to find yellow sulphate to sprinkle on my dahlia tubers do i really need to do it or will they rot if i dont . an old gardener told me he never puts anything on his but i am undecided help neaded

    Look for Flowers of Sulphur - it's certainly available online from Amazon. 

    Never used it myself and didn't lose many to rot, and in this garden I've only got one dahlia at the moment.

  • many thanks for that i think i will take a chance this year i have just started growing dahlias again after many years as my other gardens where to small for them really i have noticed there are a lot of gardeners started to grow them again where i live they are a brilliant plant

  • No need. You may lose a few at most, but go to the GCs and chose some exciting replacements.
