Chick Pea Sowing
I have been given some chick peas still in their pods
I want to save them and see if I can grow some on next season
? Do I shell them now or leave until pod goes dry / black
? Do I have to start in a pot at home etc etc etc
Hope you can help friends

How green are your pods? If they are very fresh, i would leave them to dry before shelling and storing, as most things dont store well in shells.
From watching QI, it seems kitty litter can aid drying! You could lay a few on some if you have any
I intend to start mine in an unheated greenhouse just like normal peas
Feel free to ignore my advice as i have no practical experience - yet
This may help
