What to edge a curved flower bed border with?

Hi all,

I have a curved flower bed edge - a sort of wavey line. The rest is lawn. I would like to tidy up the edge (I bought myself an edger last week!) but dont know what to edge it with, especially an edging that will make mowing the lawn easier.

I dont much like that wooden edging - becuase everytime Ive seen it its rotten and looks tatty. Is there anything els ethat looks nice, cheap, easy to install and curves?

Coincidentally I was trying to make curves in a new bed with an edger this morning. My edger only makes 6/8 inch straight cuts. I've settled on using an old kitchen bread knife to cut the curve in the lawn using the bottom of a plastic bucket as a template. I'm sure someone will be along to with a time tested method.

Ecogrid flexible edging might be OK, but also might not be high enough for your purposes. It's been easy to use for us to separate different types of gravel.

I've used something similar to this https://www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasics-Landscape-Edging-Coil-Stakes/dp/B07HM273FQ/ref=sr_1_43?keywords=Plastic+Lawn+Edging&qid=1654512133&sr=8-43 it works OK as long as you lay it out flat on a warm day first. Otherwise it's like trying to straighten out a watch spring.

I use everedge cor-ten steel edging. It's pricey, but I like it and it's very suitable for curved edging. I posted some pictures in a different thread in 2020: https://forum.gardenersworld.com/discussion/comment/2185144/#Comment_2185144
