Bulb Snakeshead planting

LBIMOLBIMO LiverpoolPosts: 7
I have some Snakeshead bulbs that rather than plant out in the garden and risk disturbing bulbs already insitu and overplanting, I plan to pot up in small pots, say 3 to a pot , over winter them and then plant them out where I can see suitable spaces. Question is once potted do I just leave them out in a sheltered place in the garden but open to all weather or put them in the unheated greenhouse with some sort of watering regime??? Thoughts please. Thanks

I'm assuming you mean snakeshead fritillaries?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Yes, got quite a few as I intend to plant some in a community garden I volunteer in, but will have to wait till late winter, early spring to see what's already there/survived from previous planting ;) Thanks

I have some in pots, they just get left to their own devices in the garden. They don't mind wet weather,I don't water them either.
