i don't think it is, they flower in Autumn, but don't produce leaves until Spring.

Yes, it's flowering now, the first post was early May. I probably should have made that clear, it was just unfinished business so it may be useful for somebody else.
I have clumps of this in several places but am totally blank as to what they are.
