This spring I planted some early and late Dutch honeysuckle
either side of my front door. They were
both about a foot high when planted and were bought from the garden
centre. I always assumed that the
pruning for these particular varieties is based on them flowering on the
previous year’s growth. However, on the
early Dutch honeysuckle I noticed some flower buds appearing over the last few
days, and this is all on current seasons growth. Has anyone come across this before?
