Agree with what everyone else has said about not using boiling water and bubbles means it’s fermenting.
Just wanted to add if it’s your first time trying fermented food, start off with eating a small amount. Too much at once can give you an upset tummy and stomach cramps.
I find fermented foods really help control my IBS. Too much and it upsets my tummy.
