Hi, my 4 year old plant , hasn't survived the snow and looks dead. If I cut it back to the ground will it survive? I don't know the variety, but it is 30cm high and has blue flowers.

    I've got the same with my 2. They were coming into bud and then the snow came :neutral: I'm hoping they'll sort themselves out but honestly I have no idea

    Some of the hardyish ones won't survive very cold weather. I'm going to wait a month or so with mine to make sure they're dead.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    I cover mine with a plastic cake tin lid during cold weather. The sort you use to stop cakes getting dry. Seems to work, not lost one yet!
