The potting shed
Hi, my 4 year old plant , hasn't survived the snow and looks dead. If I cut it back to the ground will it survive? I don't know the variety, but it is 30cm high and has blue flowers.

I've got the same with my 2. They were coming into bud and then the snow came
I'm hoping they'll sort themselves out but honestly I have no idea

Some of the hardyish ones won't survive very cold weather. I'm going to wait a month or so with mine to make sure they're dead.
In London. Keen but lazy.

I cover mine with a plastic cake tin lid during cold weather. The sort you use to stop cakes getting dry. Seems to work, not lost one yet!
