We have this bush growing in our garden but no idea what it is.... it produces lovely pink flowers later in the year
Any advise on identity and also care tips would be appreciated!
Camellia, but it's anyone's guess which variety. There are loads of pink ones. I have Camellia williamsii "Donation" which is a common one, and it looks similar, but it could be any of many others .
It's a Camellia, and from the way it's flourishing, you must have good conditions for them.
They appreciate a bucket of seaweed mix once a week in the later summer--August to mid-September--while they're growing flowerbuds. Do that and you will have an even more amazing display next spring.
