Bird ID please
Small flock of birds descended on ivy berries.
The same size as a starling but female sparrow like colours. Speckled front and horizontal stripes on face. Pointy beaks - I think but not sure.
Can anyone give me a start on what it might be?
PS they're fossicking about on the ground now.

The red ‘armpits’ are more easily seen when they fly.
Feildfares - but they have quite a bit of grey, and not really stripey on faces
They have a creamy stripe on their face. We get loads in the fields but they rarely come in the garden - too much food out there for them
