The blue 'Privacy settings' box in the bottom right corner is a new legal requirement under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). It can’t be dismissed or hidden as the idea is that it must be easy to access at all times should you wish to change your settings.

Bumblebee nest in my compost bin

We had a fox cub trapped between the compost bin and the fence panel this morning and when we freed it, we discovered a bumblebee nest at the bottom of the compost pile!  image

As I love bees - this is terrific news!

    Foxes have a thing for bumblebee nests. My bumblebee nest was attacked twice by foxes two years ago. Curious thing because bumbles don't store more than a bout a dessert spoon of honey.
