Foxgloves

Hi, I planted some foxgloves out in the borders, they all seem to have established well with big thick leaves and what looks like a sturdy center. Obviously I know they won't flower until next year as there a biennial.  So I'm wondering should I mulch them over winter?? Thanks

    No need too but it probably won’t do any harm if you are mulching the beds anyway. We have self seeded foxgloves and they need no care or attention at all

    Yes - they need no attention whatsoever. One of the easiest plants in a garden. 

    Mulching round any plant is fine, as long as you're not completely burying the crown under 6 inches of it, especially in wet areas.   :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
