Aloe Vera

I thought I would share this information, as it is incredibly useful. Everyone knows ( or should know) what an incredible plant Aloe vera is for treating skin conditions. What I didn't know is is that the pulp of the leaves is all very useful for difficult cuttings. All you need to do is smear the stem of the cuttings with Aloe vera and this not only acts as as bacteria- fungcide but speeds up the time the cutting needs to root.
Everyone likes butterflies. Nobody likes caterpillars.

    That is interesting Inglezinho have you tried it out yourself?  Do you mean the gel as opposed to the sap?

    Yes I have and managed for the first time to root a Pyrostegia venusta ( Flame creeper).

    That's great Inglezinho!  Did you use the sap or the gel (or maybe both)?
