i have just planted a miniture doyenne du comice and two miniture apple trees in tubs when and how should i prune them

They won't need any pruning this year as they are very small yet. The one at the front doesn't too happy, has it been chopped already?

Those are very young trees. I can’t see any need for pruning yet.
