I have Strawberries growing in a poly tunnel and mice are eating the ripe ones, any ideas how to deter the mice

    Despite what people will say about mint and cayenne pepper there is no way to deter them as such, especially since they have now found a delicious treat! Cats, traps or a physical barrier are your choices, Are the strawberries in the ground or in pots? We had pest control round today to check some holes and vanished potatoes in our pollytunnels, not mice in my case but water voles! so far they have eaten about £40 worth of potatoes. Sigh.
