Victoria plum

About 6 weeks ago we planted a dwarf Victoria plum (purchased from local garden centre).  However, no leaves have appeared on it.  Is there anything we should be doing before it's too late?  It is about 4 ft tall.

    I would take a photo of it and send it to the seller and ask their opinion. (That’s a polite way to say that you think it’s dead.) 😕

    Also scratch a branch with your fingernail if it green underneath its alive, if its brown its dead.

    Thank you for your advice.  I did the scratch test and the branches were brown underneath.  So I contacted the garden centre and they are going to replace it.  Thank you again.
