How to get rid of Ramaria Stricta????
west central Scotland
Rhodies would struggle because of it being dry, not from the shade.
Low growing cover like Vinca, Euphorbia and London Pride [Saxifraga urbium] would all grow. Heucheras and their associates [Tiarella and Heucherella] would also be fine once throughly established. Hardy geraniums will be fine as well.
Adding a lot of decent compost and well rotted manure will help establish other planting.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

The thing about fungi is that they aren’t weeds. Not even plants. So their whole system of living and surviving is different.
If their food supply, which would seem to be dead tree roots, remains in place no amount of weed suppressant fabric or fresh topsoil is going to do much good.
In the end, they are just going to go right through it, over it and round it.
When the food runs out, so will they.
Apophthegm - a big word for a small thought.
Thankyou FairyGirl we’ll try some of those once we’ve cleared it back .
