Any ideas what this is?

lovely healthy plant but I don’t have a clue what it is. It has grown tall and bushy. I thought it was an aster when I planted it but my asters are all low growing as I expected them to be.

Reminds me of centaurea dealbata, be easier when it flowers.

I was just thinking the same lizzie, pretty mauve flowers that the bees go mad for.

Close up of the buds. They don’t seem to be on a stem like the centaurea seems to have.
