I took a spur of the minute decision to get grassman to dig out two three foot high and two feet wide evergreens which were encroaching either side of a potentilla.
Will surf plant porn to see what to plant in the spaces in the autumn.

Moved my chair around and sat and weeded and dead headed plants in pots on patio and managed to move some of the smaller pots
It's hard to believe that the forecast for  tomorrow is pretty dire.

Just got back from seeing little poppets. Didn't get to go to the swings as it started to rain. But had fun playing indoors. 😍
Sun is now shining,🙄 typical 😉

    Forcast for tomorrow is horrendous😫

Afties all. Its been a beautiful day - like the first post on here said. Had a bit of party planning but started off at my Bestie's daughter's house as we had to wait for the plumber - leaky shower stall. Sorted now.
Joyce that was a radical decision but you're right, be nice to comb the catalogues for new plants. I love the idea of your armchair gardening
Well done Ruby for excavating the hydrangea.

Runners please be careful leaping over the wall to dig up your spuds (Ante - potatoes). The coach for the British Olympic High Jumping team is scouting in your area!
SGL I'm sorry that rain stopped play for you and the poppets today.

Accompanied Dad to the hospital this afternoon, needed a lay down afterwards.  Quite a hot day.  Lily it's good you can spend time with the baby.    Joyce it's good that you can sit down and garden and hear nature.  Lants expensive.   Chive hope you have a cooler evening.  Pansy hope things are okay with little cat.  Topbird hope you've managed to catch a break today.  LB Res 82 things do move quickly.  I've changed into my pyjamas and settled in for the evening.

Lants, I already do different types of inhaling and exhaling ranging from gentle to puffing and panting and it doesn't cost me a penny.  Some people have more money than sense.

Chive, most of my gardening is done from a sitting or kneeling position as my leg gives way after standing for fifteen minutes.  The neighbours are now used to seeing me sitting pruning etc.

Hope you sleep well tonight Rebecca after a tiring day.
