Collapsed potato plants

I went away for work conference for 3 days, when I came back yesterday my sarpo Mira, pink fir and international kidney potato plants has collapsed, I’m not what cause this or which pest did this. 

Is is there a way for to rectify this or is this the end?

    It's been hot and dry, they probably just need a good drink.  The plants look healthy and the leaves aren't wilted. It doesn't matter if the plants sprawl a bit, they're still photosynthesising and plumping up those tasty tubers.
