Permanent heather container display- what to pair with?

  I think a nice Heuchera with dark red or coral foliage would suit with the Heathers.

  I'm not sure about the compatible soil requirements of those two. What about a diascia? Mine have survived the winter outside in a trough with no protection and they flower nonstop throughout the summer - in fact they have a few blooms right now.

  How about some snowdrops that open at the same time the heather is in flower, followed by a hardy geranium that'll give you weeks of interest, at its base? 
  Dragon's Heart (dark magenta) or a white version.

  Something like that's a shout. I like the idea of having a permanent layer of bulbs underneath.

  Suppose the issue is getting a big enough container. Maybe one of those hexagonal planters would suit.

  Big enough container, big enough garden....I never seem to have enough space to plant everything I want, that's for sure

  Some of the other Forest products on Wickes have iffy reviews so this might be a safer bet from the googling I've done. Either way it's an extra couple of planting schemes to think up.
