Overwintering Cannas
in Plants
I have 2 cannas in pots that I bought late last summer. I have brought them inside now. They are in an unheated room on a south-east facing window sill. They have been there for about 2 weeks and are starting to look very droopy. I have not watered them since I brought them inside.
Should I water them and if so how often?
Is it normal for the leaves to droop and perhaps drop off?
many thanks for any help

Do not water until Spring. The leaves will wither and dry off. You can then cut them off to tidy the plant up. When it warms up in Spring, a new shoot will start. At that point, feed and water and keep in a sunny warm position.
Thank you that is very helpful.
