Cold Frame

I am looking for a cold frame with an automatic opening and closing lid. Is there such a thing  :)

I thought of attaching one of those auto vent greenhouse window openers to a bog standard cold frame.  But I think then I would be unable to lift the lid manually....

    Correct you won't be able to lift it manually. I can't think of any other recommendations

    What about one of those things for automatically opening and closing chicken doors?  I think it works on a pulley.  You could just attach some line and a pulley to the lid, the it would be simple to just lift it up manually as and when needed.
