Pitcher Plant - Not A Clue

Hi. Me again. I have a pitcher plant that i am amazed is still alive

I planted it into a larger pot using some carnivorous plant mix that i got from the same nursery that i got the plant.

It's never really looked like a pitcher plant though. It throws up shoots but they don't open up.

It was left outside in a tray of rainwater all winter but it appears to be just about alive.

What should i do with it?

Mine is planted in the ground at the edge of the pond and sailed through The Beast. It's now throwing up flowers.
I'm happy to get a photo tomorrow if anyone is interested?

Yes please Hosta! Mine was bought last year and planted in an aquatic basket in very shallow water (as per the label) but I think I've lost it. Seeing Monty with his last week made me wonder if I was wrong to put them in the water at all?

Hubby bought mine from a specialist on a trip to Rosemoor. As MD said, they grow in peat bogs, so I just planted mine in slightly muddy soil. They do say they're very unforgiving of drying out, even once is enough to kill them.

Well mine certainly didn't dry out, but they may have had their roots frozen a couple of months ago :( Hate it when plants die in my garden.

Flowers? By jingo, love to see some pics.
I have just repotted mine because they just haven't been looking good. Not at all sure I have done the right thing. :(

I've just tried to post the photos I took last year, but suddenly they're too big to post ( even though I managed last year ) I have no idea how to resize them. Sorry.
I'll take some more when the sun is on them later.
