Ceanothus query
Hello,
I have an established Ceanothus Blue Mound.
The plant flowered in April-May this year as usual & I pruned it back to about 6ft & it flourished, growing strongly over the summer.
The ongoing warm weather seems to have confused it & it started to flower again mid-September, all through October & is still flowering now, with new buds visible, on 8th November although over the last week we have finally started to get frosts & temperatures under 5c here in Surrey. It has only ever flowered previously once a year in April-May.
I've only ever pruned it in June once it has stopped flowering but now am unsure what to do. Should I allow it to grow over the winter & prune it early March? Should this plant even be flowering twice in a year?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I would not prune it until after flowering next May. Doing it now would certainly be bad, if we get a cold winter.
