Small clear balls, are they eggs?

Sorry for yet another question and thanks in advance for any answer. I just saw these in one of my pots. It had a hebe Margret in it which seemed to have died about 2 months ago.

Hope you can see it - small clear balls. Are they eggs of some sort? There quite a lot throughout the pot but the photo doesn't show it very well.

Yep, snails or slugs.  They can be clear or white but nearly always laid in clusters.  Good fish food if you have a pond, otherwise put them somewhere exposed for the birds, squish or black bin.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Thank you B3 andn Bob, no pond so will discard.

  • Help! What are these? Found them in the dirt while clearing ivy (not the poison kind)
