More plants to identify if possible, thanks.
The first plant was approx 4 inches tall, the second was even smaller, the third was growing out of a dry wall, and the last plant was quite tall, can any of them be named?

Pretty sure the tall one is Acanthus mollis. No idea about the others.
The second one looks like a teeny tiny geranium.

any scent to the leaves of the first? Looks like Calamintha nepetoides
2nd is a geranium, lots of similar cultivars, don't know which one that is
3rd is a Phlomis, need to see a bit more of the plant for which species. Might be P grandiflora bit P. fruticosa is more often seen.
4 is Acanthus mollis
In the sticks near Peterborough
We don't know if there was a scent for the first plant - it was growing on a hedgerow, the flowers were quite dainty as was the third plant and we only took the one picture, it was quite a strange looking plant. Thanks for helping with the plant naming.
2nd one is Geranium "Orkney Cherry"
3rd is Phlomis Fructicosa
4th is Acanthus Mollis
Thanks Busy-Lizzie - it's strange that since I have just noticed these plants for the first time - now whenever we visit "open" gardens they appear to be in almost every garden that we visit! The open garden today was within the grounds of a Castle - more pictures to follow when we have sorted them.
