Hello just looking to get these two plants identified. Have appeared in my pot.
the first is Feverfew
the second probably Bird's Foot Trefoil
I'm assuming the dead bits in the second pic are something else
Thankyou for the quick response. Yes the dead plant is what's left of a Phacelia tanacetifolia after it flowered
The little yellow flower looks like a coronilla, part of the pea family. Lucky you if it is. They smell absolutely gorgeous I could be completely wrong of course and no doubt somebody will verify this. Could the white flower be whats called a 'poached egg' plant
no deffo feverfew for the first one - I've got both that and poached egg out at the moment. Feverfew comes in here as a weed, it's prolific. There's a golden leafed version that I don't hoik out but both have nicely scented leaves.
the leaves of the second look like the three part leaves of a trefoil to me. the coronillas I've seen have pinnate leaves with more leaflets
Agree with nutcutlet's ID. Yellow flower is Bird's Foot Trefoil - Lotus corniculatus - a very pretty British native.
I should have added that those gardeners who want a 'bowling green' lawn find this plant a real pest!
