this has appeared in my garden, should i remove or leave?
I think it's rather lovely. I'd love it in mine. I'm curious why you might lose it.
the description says it smell of dead meat to attract flies
and does it?
If the smell is awful, and right next to your back door, or a window you keep opened, maybe, but if it's tucked away and you don't smell it unless you get close, I'd keep it.
Your garden, your choice. I think their flowering period is short, so maybe enjoy the novelty of it for the time being?
It doesn't smell for long, just til it's been fertilised.
not smelling it at the moment luckily and it is tucked away at the back of the border under the holly tree, i didn't plant it , it has just appeared, as long as we aren't plagued by flies it can stay
plagues, are mercifully thin on the ground. Enjoy.
