Oh - that witch hazel wasn't there when I posted - it's beautiful Cranlan
I found these pix of Inverary Castle for Pat. They were taken about seven years ago in October
a little of the autumn colour there that day
and a view of the reservoir and dam from the ridge between that hill and the adjoining one - looking out towards Loch Awe. The power station is underneath
Should have said that last one refers to something Pat was talking about on Forkers thread
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
Yes - Ben Cruachan Hosta. It's quite a famous place and you can apparently have a guided tour of the 'works'
It's a great walk - you go across the dam to access the hills. If you zoom that pic you can see the head of the dam. I have another pic taken from the walkway on the dam, but it's got my big ugly mug on it so I'm not putting it on here!

Witch hazel taken a couple of weeks ago
Lovely pix KEF. I don't like blue as a general rule, but the little anemones at this time of year are gorgeous.
Love Pat's skink too - terrific to have such diversity in gardens.
Cranlan - hopefully you'll get more opportunities to take pix - isn't it superb when they stop and you're in the right place at the right time!
The blue of that anemone is stunning!
Lovely pics everyone.
Oh to be on that beach David

One from last years hols, oh to be back there...............

Just popped in to make sure I get email notifications for this thread. Don't want to miss out on all the lovely photos.
Fairy, is that the one where the water is channeled underground?
