Tall, dark and handsome, Dove; wrong on at least 3 counts!

Walk out to winter, swear I'll be there.
Chill will wake you, high and dry
    You'll wonder why.

Uhmm Pdoc - never had you down for short, fair and prettyimage

Well Dove, that's clarified things for youimage.  I've only been to Heligan and Eden and loved both but it's good to have the information of which gardens are best in different weather conditions.  You'll have a lovely time whatever you doimage

I wonder how the scar on Poldarks face miraculously changed sides from the original series.

whichever you visit Dove, they'll pale to insignificance by comparison with the garden you're visiting in Devon.

    I wish.

Have to agree with Hosta on  Drogo..

i did write quite a long piece on this but deleted it, don't want to turn Doves thread into a debate.

I've long been fascinated by Castle Drogo but have never been - however I don't think this is the trip that will change that.

We visited the Eden Project a few years ago image  but have never been to Heligan or Trelissick - I've a feeling that they'll be the gardens of choice this year, given where we're going to be based - that is if the weather isn't suitable for constant sunbathing and paddling on the beach image

Thanks for the ideas everyone image
