I bought pink (berry?) suet pellets and have found far less enthusiasm from our feathered friends. Has anyone else noted this? I think the white (mealworm?) pellets were taken far more enthusiastically...
I find birds are pretty picky depending upon the time of year.
They take time to go to new stuff in the feeding station.
Give them time and they'll get used to newbies.
Previously I used a mix of four flavours (including pink!) but this time I bought 10kg as it was cheaper...
I've put out some chocolate digestive which are well past sell by and a LOT soggy. One or two have sampled , but I'm sure they'll all go in the end.
There is NO SUCH THING as an out of date biscuit!

By comparison, I broke my own record this week by eating ? drinking? a yogurt which was 59 days past its use by date . June 10th.
