Hi I have a butler sink on the back garden. It gets plenty of sun I tried growing iris in ti but that didn't really work any ideas pretty please?
Use it for rockery plants. Make sure the drainage hole is draining and put gravel around the plants.

Ohhhh no I haven't but thanks i'll take alook
It'd look great planted up with succulents such as sempervivums - I get a bit obsessed with them and would love to have an old sink to put them in. Just been to Buxton and noticed how many people had the real old stone troughs with succulents in their gardens - container envy!
We sunk ours into a corner of our tiny garden (new plug in drain hole) and turned it into a pond. It was very successful. This week we dug it up and upgraded it. It is now a planter in our daughter's garden
ohhh all theses ideas keep them coming please l/m at the moment thinking rock or dry garden but that could change
maybe even a water garden with dwarf water lillies
