clematis armandii
in Plants
I have just planted 2 clematis armandii, they are both growing well and quickly but one of the plants has started to have brown marks on the leaves and some holes, the other is fine, what could be causing this and is there anything that can prevent it?

They don't sound like anything to worry about. Plants will always have some leave cutter holes and some brown marks. Could just be a bit of scorching or wind/frost damage. Just make sure the plant is planted in well. Making sure the plant is well mulched after planted and always remove any dead leaves that drop around its base. In the first year, keep an eye on watering, and in time, this plant will be a very permanent fixture in your garden.
