New cyclamen in flower

Hello, I had an indoor cyclamen for years, so I know about their usual care. It died aged 15'ish and I have been looking out for a new one. I just bought one on impulse, which is in full flower in mid-June. Will it give up and die at the end of summer, given that it must have been forced to get flowers from it now? I would like to keep it, even if that means waiting 18 months for it to flower again. I was planning to water, but not feed it, this year and hope that it "reboots" for next year. Any thoughts?

I think it will be ok and will reset its internal clock.  Just give it the usual treatment of reducing watering after flowering so that the leaves die back etc.  I have one which flowered at christmas, died back in april and has now decided to start producing new flower buds as it got accidentally watered.  I fully expect it to survive though.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
