banana leaves going grey

hi my name is adam I have a banana plant in my garden and it is quite new some of the lower leaves are grey and dying but it is still getting new leaves and growing do I remove the dead leaves? thanks in advance

Lower banana leaves can get tatty. Use a sharp knife to remove , being careful to not nick the new leaves which will come from the centre of the shoot. Give it a high nitrogen feed once a week and plenty of water.
