I know this is a perennial geranium, does anyone know what the variety is?
Spotted this plant on a walk in the Peak District today, anyone know what it is?

the orange one is Hieracium aurantiacum, Fox and Cubs, Orange Hawkweed.

I was going to say that the geranium is a Geranium x magnificum. I've got one myself and they only flower for a short time. But I'm not sure if the petal shapes match up.

I love that orange Hawkweed in the photo. For years I've been sowing Emilia Irish Poet seeds in the garden - it looks a bit similar I think - and every year they just won't grow in my garden in my wild flower planned area.
I thought of x magnificum but I think you're right re the petals not matching up. There are so many, so similar, plus all the crossing they do in the garden.
Too many get the wrong ID because people don't realise there are 100s of the things

Details are at the bottom of the page....
That geranium looks like the one we have everywhere round here! No idea which one it is, but it's a useful filler if you need one.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Not Rozanne, she has white in the centre. I'm thinking magnificum 'Rosemoor'
Thanks for your replies everyone, I'm happy to have a mongrel geranium. The felty leaves and gorgeous blue flowers are enough for me. I will certainly try growing the fox and cubs.
Thank you for that Nutcutlet. I had dug one up from daughters garden but did not know what it was
Weedy looking but it has charm.
'You must have some bread with it me duck!'
The geranium looks a lot like one of my new acquisitions - geranium magnificum anemoneflorum . Blue flowers, purple veins.
