Hi,
Can anyone help me sort out the wooly beech aphids on my beech hedge. I've tried Provado but it's not got all of'em Any advice welcomed.

No possible way of getting wiping them all out with a chemical spray, you'll only end up killing the beneficial insects that feed off of them too. I blast mine with a hose every few weeks to keep on top of numbers. Other than the unpleasant stickiness, they do no harm to the beech. Clear fallen leaves in Autumn & those which remain until Spring.
