Cucumber and Tomato

I have had a good crop of plants this season. I have this year planted some Tomatoes and Cucumber in the same pot, as anyone tried this before ???

    I do not think this is a good idea. Cucumbers like a more humid atmosphere than tomatoes.  They also have differing water requirements.

    I agree with fb - esp re. water requirements

    Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
    Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

    I have already planted them now so will let you know the outcome, I have also planted each on their own but ate chucking good healthy plants away so thought I would give it a try.
