Identify mystery moth

Found this moth on my house wall, it very beautiful but I have no idea what it is. Never seen one like it before.

Any ideas?

  • Thanks, it's Very beautiful I hope it hangs around for a bit. Checked the website and it mentions that they love honeysuckle and there are plenty around here just opening

    They are real beauties - used to get them in S France but not seen them here yet - still have one in a matchbox which never made it to fruition - lucky youimage

    To keep them coming back, we need to also provide the food plants (Rosebay and other willow herbs, fuscias & himalayan balsam amongst others) for the caterpillars.  I always let some rosebay willowherb grow in a wild corner for them. image
