Just looking for some help identifying these please.
A pretty flower
This is growing out of a pot with rosemary
And this is maybe willowherb but I hope not
Top one is an Oxalis, bottom one is Rosebay willowherb - beaurtiful but invasive. Not sure about the middle one, looks a bit as if it might turn out to be a sow-thistle.
Sorry i forgot to thank you buttercupdays. I think you are right about all of these I must have pulled out 100's of young willowherb already and this one mature one escaped as i thought it was possibly something else.
If you can't clear the willowherb plants themselves - at least deadhead them before they seed. Each plant produces around 100,000 seeds.
They can look different depending on whether they're an annual or perennial plant - they do both. It's why they're such successful weeds
Thanks Fairygirl. Do they flower for long before they set seed? I might leave a few in the bare spots of garden and be sure to deadhead.
