runner beans

i have planted out runner and French beans and they have turned white leafed a day later  anyone have any idea what is causing this?

That's because you planted out a bit early, the leaves go white when they're too cold. Probably colder at nights, did you harden them off, although saying that, I'm hardening mine off and still won't plant out until first week in June.
