    Thanks all for your advice,

as the seedlings have just been potted on I will have to wait for the roots to fill out again, but don't think that will take too long . I was really surprised to see such good strong roots in the plugs. When they are ready I will plant  some into the grass, save some for planting at a later date, maybe the spring and I might just sprinkle a few seeds in the grass and see what happens. I am looking forward to next summer when my grass should be covered in daisies, the OH is'nt ?

The  Daisy plants are now growing really well, I have planted them all over the lawn.

I think I shall have to put up a sign saying " please don't walk on  the daisies" ? and I don't want to cut the grass now In case I ruin them.

I wonder when they will flower.

imageLook what's flowering in my garden this week. It's survived the light covering of snow we had this week. Hopefully more will follow.

My daisies are flowering all over my wildflower turf!

  • I'm in the mind to return my front lawn to a wilder lawn. Being in the tradeI feel I should have a showy front garden but I do love the thought of the kiddies rolling about in the daisies when the sun's out.
