Not sure what's destroying my fuchsia
Hi, I'm new to this forum. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what is causing damage to my David fuchsia. I have had it for years without a problem, even the green fly usually leave it alone until this year. It has leaf curling and black deposited under the leaves and on the top of the stems. It has hiles in some of the leaves too. I have found a few aphids and have treated it with a detergent water solution like I would normally do. I checked it a week later and the damage is still occuring which makes me think it may not be aphids causing the worse damage. I have tried to photograph it as well as i can. Any help would be greatly appreciated, really hate seeing it in this state, thanks

That looks like black fly. Do you keep it indoors? If so, I find it best just to leave it outside overnight and/or when it is raining and this usually solves the problem for me. It goes without saying- but I'll say it anyway (!)- with tender plants be aware of whether there's going to be frost overnight before doing this.
