Plant ID - not a jasmine !?!
Hello,
A coupe of years ago I took a cutting from a friends garden in Wales. The original plant was a large freestanding evergreen shrub and looked like it had been covered in flowers which were now spent. This was around July.
The cutting I took has finally flowered and I assumed it was a jasmine but the flowers are yellow.
I've searched online for 'yellow jasmine' but I don't think it is Gelsemium sempervirens or Jasminum mesnyi.
Any ideas ?
Thanks

It may well be a jasmine, just not native. See here - https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/details?plantid=3299
