Acer Trompenburg vs Seiryu

in Plants
Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience with any of the above named Acers? If so, what are your thoughts? Both are available near me but i don't know which grows better in the long term. There aren't many decent pics of Trompenburg online. The spot will be quite sunny but I've read that these two are more sun tolerant than others. It's not a windy spot.
Many thanks

The University of British Columbia Maple forum has many expert maple enthusiasts.
There is a photo library of many maples...it may help you make a decision.
We grew many named Acers...Seiryu was a favourite.

Wow those pics of yours really are impressive!
I've had a look and those pics certainly are much better than what I'm seeing on google. I'm inclined towards Trompenburg because of the colour it will bring to my chosen spot after seeing how lovely it can look via the links you've given.
Thank you very much
