late frost damage

Late frosts at the end of April have caused the flowers on my wisteria ,which were days away from a spectacular display, to die back. What should I do? The wisteria is growing all over the front of my house so not an easy task to remove flowers but concerned about long term implications of doing nothing. Advice would be appreciated.

    Do you normally deadhead it?

  • No the leaves normally cover the dead flowers and it gets a haircut in the summer. and pruned in Feb. However the leaves seem a little slow too but I may not have noticed this before due to the mass of flowers.

    Thanks for your interest.
