Poorly hydrangea

Hi all new to the forum. I'm looking for some advice on what was a very healthy 3 year old hydrangea. The plant in recent weeks started with a small amount of leaf curl and browning. I put this down to a frost mid April.  The problem has now spread to entire plant. I've fed and watered the plant and looked for pests. The plant does receive quit a bit of sun in its aspect. I've kind of ruled that out as no problems in previous years. I've attached a couple of photos to illustrate the problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Oh my soil is heavy clay but is mulched oftenimageimage

Classic signs of frost damage Jason.
If it's a mop-head, leave the old flowers on the plant until frosts are over. It's the same as putting fleece over it.

I foolishly assumed we'd had the last frost a few weeks back and took the old flowers off mine, so I've got similar damage on a couple of mine. It'll grow out and should be fine. Keep up the watering if you've had little rain

In my case It's the cold winds over the last couple of Weeks that have effected all three of mine.

All over this imminent location area, there are large numbers that have been effected
