Prunus problem

hi all. I planted a prunus last year in September and it seemed to be doing ok. It flowered and new leaves came out but yesterday I noticed some of the leaves are brown and crinkled. I'll try to attach a photo but the images are not great. Could it be lack of water as we've had such a dry month?
