Dying Hydrangea

I have a Hydranger hedge about 30ft long and the middle section looks as if it is dying, the top and bottom section are healthy. Wondering if it could have accidentally had contact with weed killer. The hedge is about 50+ years old and has been beautiful. Any advice would be grateful.
